This collection contains two printing blocks from the American Entomological Society. The large printing block was made from a sketch of the same design. The large printing block is to create certificates for members of the society. A metal printing plate is attached to a wooden block for support. Helen Elizabeth Lawson, the second daughter of Alexander and Elizabeth De Scaife Lawson, was born in Philadelphia sometime in or about the year 1808.
